​The Northwest Ohio Chapter of the US Green Building Council is a vocal advocate for Green Buildings. We believe buildings and communities will regenerate and sustain the health and vitality of all life within a generation

Advocacy plays an important role in who we are and what we do. We believe that the green building movement has the power to change the way we live today and the ability to transform the legacy we leave tomorrow..

“ Yay!” Ms. Coch said enthusiastically as the skeletal frame began to take shape. “I got it.”

..... a group of at least 20 volunteers gathered at Airport High School to build a greenhouse for students to grow plants and learn about biology and science at the same time. 

Funded by grants from the U.S. Green Building Council, the $2,000 gothic-style greenhouse behindthe high school was the first of four such projects to be built around Monroe County. Soon
